New Orleans (AFP) – The New Orleans Hornets will host Houston in a game that could be the final game of the season for the Rockets’ Al-Farouq Aminu.
The Rockets and New Orleans were tied for first place in the Western Conference, and were playing for the first time since they were swept by the Washington Wizards in the first round of the playoffs.
They are 3-1 after winning the first game of their four-game road trip.
New Orleans lost to the Los Angeles Clippers in overtime on Monday in Houston.
The Hornets had won eight of 10 and had won nine of 10 at home against the Rockets.
The game was to be the first for Aminu since he left to play in China.
The 27-year-old averaged 21.8 points and 11.2 rebounds in 22.1 minutes per game for the Hornets last season.
